Possible Pico Day Collab?

This idea has been rolling around in my head for a while, so I might as well share it with you all. Below I'll just brainstorm for my own sake.
If you're a serious animator and this looks like something you'd be interested in, drop me a comment or PM.
Everyone else can comment whether or not they think it's a good idea.

A Brief History of Pico

The basic premise is that Pico and friends are timewarped to all these eras in history.
It would follow the same sort of style as the other "Watch Pico Get Thrown Around Different Places" movies: (1) (2) (3).

Possible Time Periods

Prehistoric (Pico and friends are cavemen, shenanigans ensue)
Egypt (Mummies? Eh?)
Ancient China (Samurais, Ninjas ECT!)
Rome (Pico is Julius Caesar and is assassinated by Darnell? THE POSSIBILITIES)
Medieval
1920's
Now
The Future (:O)

I'm probably forgetting something but I'll deal with that tomorrow.

Hmm... well if it's for your sack, naturally I am in support of it.

Anyway the idea actually sounds pretty awesome. The Pico characters are cool, they just need interesting context and situations to bring it out.

Can't say I can do much for you unless you want some amateur wannabe voice actor to do some lines, and if that's the case, I'm your guy!

Hmm I never thought of it in game form. That could be something to keep in mind. I've been working on a shooting engine for a while that would fit in well. Thanks!

Game would be cool. Portal Defenders 2 slightly dabbles in that, but instead of going into history the levels are different newgrounds series.

I'd say that my only suggestion is to keep it very manageable. Pico day is only a little more than a month away and a concept like this, could be one of those monster 6 month long projects. I'd come up with a way to keep it very focused and accomplishable

Manageability is definitely an important factor, I hate to see collabs sloppily thrown together right before the deadline. Since Kembry had suggested it, I've been leaning toward making it a game. Anyway, thanks for the advice and good luck on PD2!

Its a great idea, but how would you manage the transitions, and what about the context?

From this it could either be pico and friends with a magical bunny or being warped around by Dr. EVIL.

i would probably stick with the Dr. Evil scenario myself, where you could use portals and/or warps for transitions. This would also give an opportunity for "super baddies" which everyone loves, although a big evil dude is a commonly used context.
