Making a Website?

So for a long time I've been tinkering around with the idea of having my own website.
I love Newgrounds and I'll still post all of my games and stuff here, it's just always been a dream of mine to operate a website of my own. Or something like that. Just a small gallery of my work with upcoming projects and stuff.

I know absolutely nothing about making a website, so for the past month I've been reading up on tutorials and whatnot. So far I have this. The end product will look a little like something below. Maybe less cluttered.

Any thoughts, suggestions or comments?

that's really cool! I'm trying to refrain from making the website in Flash. I'll definitely keep that in mind for other Flash projects though. Also the bald gorilla site is really cool.

Hey quick HTML question...

If I make a button in flash, and want that button to Link to a certain area on my website, how do I set that up?

I mean, I know how to put in the hyperlink and all, but we're talking about a site that isn't in a domain yet. You know how when your setting the site up, and its just abunch of files on your computer? Yeah, how do you make a button in flash link to those, so that when you put the site in a domain it will be linked properly.

Or do you rent the domain first and design the website later? Because that seems kinda silly to me....
